How to Play
- Objective & Preparation What is a Sequence? A connected series of five chips of the same color, arranged horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.
- The Goal to Win: 2 Players/Teams Score two Sequences to win. 3 Players/Teams Score one Sequence to win.
- Cards dealt to each player: 2 Players 7 cards. 3 Players 6 cards. 4 Players 5 cards. 5 Players 4 cards. 6 Players 3 cards.
- How to Play:1. Play a card 2. Place a chip 3. Draw a new card
- The Free Corner: The four corners (★) are "free" spaces. They act as wild chips, meaning you only need 4 chips to build a sequence out of a corner.
- Two-Eyed vs One-Eyed Jacks: One-Eyed Jacks are anti-wild and can be used to remove an opponent's chip from the board. Two-Eyed Jacks are wild cards and can be used to place a chip anywhere on the board.
Strategy & Tactics
The Corner Strategy
The four corners (★) are the most valuable real estate on the board because they are permanent free spaces that cannot be removed.
- Multi-Directional: A corner can anchor sequences horizontally, vertically, AND diagonally at the same time.
- Shorter Sequences: Since the corner counts as your color, you only need 4 more chips to complete a 5-chip sequence.
- Claim Early: Prioritize playing cards that land near corners or using Two-Eyed Jacks to secure a corner spot before your opponent can block the surrounding paths.
